Shakespeare once said, “If music be the food of love play on,” and if you love music, you’ll love what we have this week.  First some good news.  I’m not going to talk very much.  It’s because we’ll be listening to “Amadeus,” by Peter Shafer but before we do we’ll be looking at Mozart through some of his best music along with James Nochte from July 2, 2007.  “Amadeus,” is from 2006 and stars Paul Schofield as Salieri and Simon Callow as Mozart.  Please enjoy.  A slight word of warning.  The play does contain some language and scenes that should not be listened to by all.  My friend Scott over in Disney Indiana when he promotes the show says it like this “Keep the little ears covered,” however, this is something they too will appreciate in twenty years.  Enjoy.

As we begin our 454th get together, we begin going through the request vault.  While it is dusty and sadly not used enough, we thought it high time to honor our friend Julie Anne with a long over do request.  So Julie Anne after we study the work of Heyden in the twentieth episode of The Making Of Music, a nice relaxing start to the show, it’s back to Portsmouth fortwo episodes of Navy Lark.  We’re in series 9 and its episodes 6 and 7.  After a full hour of adventure and mayhem in Portsmouth Harbor, it’s time to revisit our old friend The Saint and listen to the 1995 adaptation of The Saint Plays with Fire.  Alas it’s mono, but hey it’s great.  Please enjoy.
