To cclose out July and our annual look at American playwrights as only the Beeb knows how we're looking at Death Of A Salesman and yes it's quite good. But we also have Bill Bryson's take on Dorsett and an entire hour of I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again. So sit back relax it's almost four hours you can break up. Next week it's back to Narnia. Enjoy. |

Then it's a look at the bride of Frankenstein on I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again Bill Bryson tells us about working at an old sanitorium in Virginia Water and we conclude with a look at Harpo Marks's goodwill tour of Russia in 1933. This week as we do our annual July tribute to America, we feature Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, as our play. We also begin Notes From A Small Island and enjoy rather endearingly Bill Bryson's look at Britain from his American perspective. There's a little extra fun with Navy Lark and we are still working through I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again this time in which Lady Constance is hunted like a fox. Enjoy. |
